Viviparous Eelpout, or Blenny

The eelpout spends its whole life in fjords. It prefers shallow water with dense underwater vegetation. It is often a by-catch in eel fishing. Although they make delicious eating, most are thrown overboard when eel fishers empty their traps, to the delight of the big gulls.
